Ijebu Premier League
This is to officially inform all quarters of the Ijebu Premier League of a schedule change affecting Week 2 fixtures.

Efforts Made by the Board
Pitch A Option
We consulted Stadium Administration to host all Week 2 fixtures on Pitch A on Sunday 14th June, avoiding a clash with NLO-1. This was approved in principle.
Saturday 13th June Option
After General House voting, fixtures were moved to Saturday 13th June 2026 to keep the schedule intact and sidestep Sunday conflicts entirely.
Why Both Options Could Not Proceed
Live Streaming Quality
Our camera crew and production team are engaged and unavailable on Saturday 13th. IPL Week 2 cannot go ahead without our broadcast standard — we will not compromise on visibility.
Officiating Standard
Most certified referees and match officials are committed to NLO-1 on Sunday 14th. Proceeding would risk a significant drop in officiating quality, which is unacceptable.
Spectator Convenience
Running IPL and NLO-1 on the same day/weekend would split the attention of fans, parents, sponsors, and stakeholders across both competitions simultaneously.
⚽ Friendly Match — Preparation Continues
We have agreed to play one or two friendly games this week to keep our preparations sharp ahead of the rescheduled League fixtures.
