Latest Academy Updates

We are excited to share the latest developments from the field! Our team is currently in high spirits as we continue our intensive training sessions.

  • ⚽ Match Review: Our match last Saturday ended in a 0-0 draw. While the boys put in a massive effort, we identified specific areas for growth. Development has already begun—the team is on the pitch today sharpening those skills.
  • 🏃‍♂️ New Arrivals: We are pleased to welcome 3 newly scouted players who arrived yesterday. They have already integrated into the squad and are training with us today.
  • 🌍 International Partnership: JSDSA is currently in talks with a Licensed Agent from Norway regarding a strategic collaboration. He is scheduled to visit the academy in September.
  • 📅 Upcoming: We have another match scheduled for this Saturday. Additionally, we will be recording three upcoming matches on video to share with our Norwegian partners.

February 2026 Summary

Recruitment activities kicked off this month, with medical support provided for Dare Odeyale and match features for Abdulgafar Muyideen. Financially, the month closed with a balance of ₦761,386.24.

March 2026 Activities

  • Trials: Completed a successful two-week trial involving players nationwide, concluding with a 2–1 friendly victory.
  • Scouting: Successful trips to Igboho, Kishi, and Saki (Oyo State) resulted in the identification of 4 promising talents.
  • League Prep: Training is ongoing for the Ijebu Premier League starting May 2026.
